Liv Thomas (she/her), Campus Minister/Director
Liv Thomas is in the ordination process in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana Liv attended Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, worked for the Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, MD. and, most recently, received her Master of Divinity from Vanderbilt University.
Liv is ever curious about the new life and work God is calling our Church into. A community organizer at heart, she believes that our God calls us to make our Christian beliefs manifest, to act together to ensure one another’s liberation. At NOLA Wesley, she is committed to the promise of Christ’s divine table: that all are welcome as they are. Liv loves to explore nature, gardening, road trips, women’s basketball, and spending time with her loved ones.
Carrie Stuckwisch (she/her), Labyrinth Café Manager
Carrie joined the NOLA Wesley team in August 2021. Since then, she has used her vision to transform the Labyrinth Café into a space for studying, affordable lunch, and seeing friendly faces. Her dedication has allowed the customer and staff community to grow exponentially, with more students learning about the café every semester. Carrie is also an active member of Rayne UMC, as well as a classically trained chef. Come in and try one of her yummy recipes Monday-Saturday!
Mary Evelyne White (she/her), Outreach Chair
